I was born and raised in the city of Brooklyn, New York. It was a great neighborhood to live in as a child. The neighborhood thrived by the support of small businesses such as: Grocery Stores, Bakeries, and Florist, Pharmacist, and Clothing/Apparel shops. It was very common to see Taxi and other public transportation services assisting the community in their day to day needs. This was the kind of environment that planted the seed of entrepreneurship in me. After finishing High School, I moved to Western New York with my family, Rochester to be exact. I attended a community college and studied Business. Circumstances didn’t allow me to finish school, but the passion and desire to pursue the science of Business never left.

Over the last 15 years I have made it my focus to independently study small business management, basic accounting, leadership, success principles, and entrepreneurship. I knew I would need a basic understanding of business in order to establish and sustain a small business in the future. My passion is to help people with the Gospel food and needed goods like furniture in the community.

Business Description

In November of 2016, I started my own Medical Transportation Business. I named it Grace (God’s Favor) Transportation. My medical transportation company has been in operation for a year. It is a combination of medical service transportation and taxi services. I currently have a contract with Fidelis Care and Medicaid. So I am currently going through growing pains. One of my motivations is to grow my business so that I can one day assist with the poverty issues we face in Rochester, New York.

Our company saw that there was shortage in providing adequate transportation to clients in the surrounding counties of Rochester. It is a non-emergency medical transportation service. It provides transportation to Medicaid clients. Grace Transportation is not limited to non-medical transportation but transportation needs of the community as well.
